Forbidden Fruit, My papers are from a digi kit, I just love the orange slice one, very cool. I mat & layered the paper onto orange card stock after I inked the edges.

I did my sentiment plate up in craft Artist & used glaze on it to make it pop. I added little green buttons to finish it off.

She has been coloured with my beloved promarkers & I added a touch of glitter pen to her stockings. I wasn't 100% happy with her hair, but like how her stockings turned out :)

Happy Anniversary Hubby

Good afternoon everyone, from a wet & wild County Wicklow, the wind is really blowing up a storm out there. Today I am blogging a card I've made for hubby for our 3rd Anniversary. I can't believe it'll be 3 years on Tuesday since I married my best friend. So I hope you don't mind if I share a wedding photo with
you before I show you the card, it's me with the hubby & our gorgeous little man.
& now onto my card

I've used a gorgeous image from

She's been coloured in promarkers & I used glossy accents on the beer froth & bubbles.

I used some foiled paper & used it to insert into the tag & I also die cut a star from it.
I punched holes along the edge & threaded ribbon through (so it now folds an inch in from the fold) I finished off with a mirror board die cut flourish & some faux stitching around the image.
Thanks for stopping by.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:
Chocolate, Coffee & Cards: #48 Anything Goes

Creative Fingers #2 - Beccy's Place.

Good morning beautiful people, it's Friday, yipppeeee. That of course means that as well as nearly being the weekend, we have a new challenge from
Creative Fingers Challenge Blog

& this week we are sponsored by the wonderful

The DT were given some fab images to work with & of course there is a prize for the winner
3 images or 1 digital set
Our theme this week is:
Use a sentiment.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you all come up with, & onto my make

I got to play with the lovely Rose Fairy . Once I'd decided on my colour scheme. I hadn't much in the peach colour scheme range of papers, so for my mats I coloured the edges in peach promarker. I decided on a tent style card & built up my mats & layers. I used a punch for the edge of the mat & layered a digi paper on top. I found a cut off of decorative border I had cut from before my poor robo died lol, so I coloured it again in peach & mounted it on top of the card.

I recoloured some little paper roses from my stash & die cut a leaf from patterned paper. I made up my sentiment in craft artist & attached it with a raise in the centre.

I coloured Rose in promarkers & I tried something new with the shading on the face, I am chuffed with how it turned out, but now I need to remember how I did it lol.

So, there you have it, thanks for looking & I hope you'll join us this week. Do pop by & see what the rest of the DT have come up with too :)

I would like to enter the following challeges:

Through The Purple Haze Challenges

Good morning everyone, it's Monday again already, where or where did the weekend go!!!!
but, luckily for us, Mondays mean it's challenge day at
Through The Purple Haze Challenges
Yipeeee :)

This week it's another double header & we all followed this sketch

Team A are sponsored by the lovely
I was lucky enough to get a lovely image called Eli from a designer called My Heart Pieces
Stitchy Bear are offering the winner of this challenge $10 voucher.
& so here is my make.

I recoloured a digi paper in craft artist for my background, inked a circle of card & ran it through an embossing folder before sanding it back. My little ribbon strip is from my stash & the bigger ribbon strip is a cut of paper, I used the same paper to cut the fish tale banner from. I wrote my sentiment in Craft Artist & then cut it out & inked it to match. It's been embellished with little punched flowers & butterflies.

I coloured Eli with my promarkers. As it's for a mum-to-be I used pinks & blues & kept it fairly neutral.

I do hope you'll join us this week for our challenge (oh don't forget to check out the fantastic bog candy that's up for grabs once we hit 100 followers)

I would like to enter the following challenges:
